The 18-inch necklace showcases three rows of natural white freshwater cultured pearls, graduated slightly in size by row, with diameters that range from 7 to 8 millimeters. The three strands are gathered in back at a round filigree clasp in 14 karat yellow gold. Freshwater pearls look remarkably similar to their pricier saltwater cousins, though they may be slightly less uniform in shape. Naturally beautiful, they offer excellent value for the cost.
