Summary: Close, but not as described!
Comment: Pros: Rec'd very quickly. Extremely well protected by packaging (over packaged, even!). Presentation box is attractive. Pendant is striking and very weighty. Pearl has excellent color and luster. Fleur de lys design has lots of gold. Bale is large enough to wear with bolder chains.
Cons: Pearl has rings, which I know are typical of South Sea pearls, but this was described as smooth and round. There are more than 5 pits on the surface, which disappoints me a lot.
Overall, this is a low price for a South Sea pearl pendant with this much gold, and it has a nice overall look, so I will keep it. I plan to wear it w/ jeans and other casuals. If I were wearing it with dressier clothes, I'd try to exchange it for a smoother pearl.
